Assistant HR Manager (Kuwaiti Nationals Only)

Job Summary:

To direct, supervise and co-ordinate generalist HR activities within the HR function and assist leaders with relevant HR projects, programs and ongoing people related matters.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Manage complex employee relations casework including disciplinarians, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
  • Regularly meet with key stakeholders to ensure that HR issued are identified and addressed.
  • Play a significant part in understanding and improving employee engagement, female diversity and Kuwaitization initiatives.
  • Execute the annual non-managerial & managerial performance management process. 
  • Execute the annual salary increment and bonus for non-managerial.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training & development programs.
  • Expediting completion of centralized HR processes such as 360, engagement, performance management objectives and appraisals etc.
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
  • Support the annual talent review cycle and succession plans.

 

Candidate skills & qualifications:

  • 7-10 years relevant HR generalist experience
  • Must have a university degree in HR or a relevant field 
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to take quick decisions
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Negotiation skills, influencing skills and executive presence
  • Knowledge of and experience in HR policies, practices and procedures
