Job Summary
Focus on the inventory level and ensure that the stock is at optimal levels and as per budgeted inventory. Analyse the inventory and flag issue of slow moving and aged inventory and propose corrective action. Ensure that the inventory in sold as per FIFO.
Job Responsibilities
- Consolidating the ordering sales forecast and project future pipeline.
- Monitoring and evaluation of all stock related issues
- Analyse the inventory in order to ensure we slow moving inventory is not ordered and a healthy mix of variants and colours as maintained.
- Ensuring that the units sold are as pre FIFO.
- Ensure all documentation is maintained as per GM Audit guidelines.
- Maintain excellent communication with showrooms and get feedback on product shortages.
Candidate Requirements
- Should have at least 3 years’ experience in this field managing the inventory portfolio.
- Practical experience in a similar position is a plus.
- Detail-orientation and good analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at different levels.
- Self-starter with initiative, drive and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving as well as organizational skills.
- Ability to both work effectively in a team and independently.
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering
