Job Summary

The Designer is responsible for creating comprehensive interior layouts and technical design solutions for B2B clients, including architects, developers, and corporate entities. The role involves analyzing floor plans, optimizing space utilization, and selecting appropriate products from the Safat Home portfolio (furniture) to meet project briefs. You will play a vital role in the sales process by providing the visual and technical "proof of concept" that secures project approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural blueprints to create optimized 2D space plans that account for traffic flow, ergonomics, and functional requirements of commercial or residential spaces.
• Produce high-quality 3D renders and mood boards to help B2B clients visualize the final environment and the integration of Safat Home products.
• Define functional zones within a project (e.g., reception areas, workstations, breakrooms, or luxury living suites) based on the client's operational needs.

• Curate product specifications including furniture, tiles, and sanitary ware that align with the project’s aesthetic and budgetary constraints.
• Prepare detailed installation drawings, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination layouts, and furniture setting plans for contractors and site engineers.
• Assist the B2B sales team by providing accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical data sheets required for formal project bids and tenders.

• Attend meetings with architects, consultants, and developers to present design proposals and revise layouts based on technical feedback.
• Conduct on-site measurements and inspections to ensure design accuracy and monitor the implementation of specified layouts.
• Coordinate with the Category and Buying teams to ensure the availability of specified products and to stay updated on the latest design trends and inventory.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in interior design and space planning, with a specific focus on B2B, commercial, or large-scale residential projects.
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Revit, SketchUp, and V-Ray (or Adobe Creative Suite). Proficiency in MS Office is also required.
• Strong understanding of building codes, material properties (specifically tiles and sanitary ware), and furniture construction.
• Ability to explain design concepts clearly to non-technical clients. Fluent in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating successful B2B or commercial project completions.
