Job Summary

To determine the client’s requirements and match them with the company’s service capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Explain all services available to the customer, including packing, moving, forwarding, shipping, storage and insurance. (Inbound and outbound).
  • Clearly explain to the customer their responsibilities and the services for which the company is responsible.
  • Establish a detailed contract for each move that specifies the business and service level agreement. Ensure both parties sign the contract before the move begins.
  • Accurately maintain all required documentation and handle all communication with the customer, agents, carriers, and the company.
  • Send a quotation when a pre-move is requested by a booker (overseas agent) within 3 working days and to the customer within 4 working days.
  • Send shipping documents and instructions within the following timelines:
    • Air shipments: within 24 hours.
    • Sea shipments: within 3 working days.
    • Confirm delivery to the booking agent within 2 working days.
  • Send the signed delivery note, packing list within 4 working days.
  • Issue invoices within 30 working days.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Preferably Kuwaiti National    
  • 2 years of shipping knowledge & documentation.
  • Good telephone manners / Customer handling.
  • Experience and good knowledge of the local shipping documentation. 
  • Necessary computer operating skills of MS office skills
