Driver - Delivery

Job Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of products to customers while providing excellent customer service. This role also includes maintaining the assigned vehicle, and complying with all company policies and safety standards. 

Job Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries
• Drive safely and deliver products within deadlines
• Analyse delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule
• Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Collect payments from customer at the time of product delivery
• Inform on new products and services
• Perform vehicle inspection such as checking tire pressure
• Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenances
• Adhere to company operating policies and procedures
• Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork
• Maintain the vehicle clean and safe
• Promote our products, distribute door hangers and promotional materials
• To manage the drive so that we meet our delivery time and deliver quality products
• To keep their uniforms / shoes / motorbike in clean and hygienic condition

Candidate Requirements

• Proven working experience as a delivery driver
• Valid Kuwait Light Driving License
• Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry products as required.

Education

High School or Diploma Graduate
