Job Summary

The job holder will support the Finance Manager in managing the finance analysis function for a specific business and support the business in preparation of budgets, forecasting financials, perform meaningful analysis of financials, cost allocations and assist operations in defining meaning KPIs for monitoring and improving performance and supporting business growth initiatives

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide analytical support and ongoing monitoring to aid key decision making.
  2. Manage the closure of financial and accounting books on monthly basis.
  3. Contribute towards Budgeting & forecasting exercise by integrating with key business stakeholders across functions.
  4. Cost monitoring of projects vs budget and project management reporting.
  5. Cost allocation to business based on predefined keys/rates.
  6. Monitor and interpret financial performance, providing regular analysis and expert guidance to General Managers/Directors offering insight and recommendations to enhance business performance.
  7. Review current systems, make recommendations for systems enhancement, and participate in implementation of new systems.
  8. Review capital expenditure models prepared by the team and managed administrative process of seeking internal approvals etc.
  9. Direct and co-ordinate all activities of the financial control function

Candidate Requirements

  • Professionally Qualified – CA/ACCA/CPA/MBA or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification professional experience within finance
  • Strong analytical skills; should be capable of identifying and interpreting key business drivers. 
  • Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting concepts coupled with excellent financial analytical capability.
  • Self-starter, able to work across functions and in teams.  Results-driven, with the ability to perform on unstructured assignments
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment
  • Exposed to ERP systems and strong excel skills.
