Financial Analyst (Kuwaiti National)

Position: Financial Analyst

Reporting to: Finance Manager – Central Services

Position Location: Kuwait – Alhamra Tower

Position Overview:

Central Services consists of various corporate support functions (Executive Management, Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, and others), which extend their support to businesses within Alghanim Industries. 

Our team aims to provide the highest level of financial support to these functions. This role will be essential in completing yearly budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly closings & reviews, as well as day to day support for all functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain financial models
  • Budgets, Forecasts, Cost Allocation, Monthly Performance, CAPEX
• Presenting to Executives
• Variance Analysis vs Budget, Forecasts, & Previous Year
• Provide finance assistance to all support functions for projects and day to day activities
• Central Cost Allocation
• Communication with other businesses within Alghanim Industries

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 1-3 years experience in Corporate Finance or Accounting
• Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Management Accounting Concepts
• Strong analytical skills, identifying key cost drivers as, and summarizing data for review
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Self motivated and able to adapt to unexpected situations
• Positive attitude with ability to integrate with others within and outside the team
• Strong communication skills (Speaking & Writing) - Fluency in English and Arabic
