Freight Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

Catering to container loadings from China & Fareast for Alghanim Industries and its associated Business Units

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee container loadings worldwide on daily basis
• Handle freight flow processes
• Responsible for loading the containers as per control measures in place by management as well as in alignment with buying team
• Reporting on bookings of shipments regularly by updating ERP System diligently for better management
• Respond to business unit complaints or inquiries related to container loadings.
• Responsible to manage relationship with shipping lines & freight forwarders by assisting suppliers to ship it as per intended timelines and in alignment with China team instructions
• Check copy documents as per destination clearance process.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably for Kuwaiti National
• Require 1-3 years of experience in handling documentation either in capacity of purchase handling freight or handling key account in a freight forwarding company. Electronics and Furniture background is preferable.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations of shipping lines locally and regionally.
• Language - Arabic, English - writing, reading and speaking is a must and primary requirement.
• Good computer skill required including typing & MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Plan and prioritize basis business unit requirement
