Job Summary

Reporting to the Section Head, the Installer makes sure that all furniture items are quickly and neatly displayed in the showroom.  

Job Responsibilities

•    Handling the assembly of furniture items within the showroom, making sure that quality checks are performed.
•    Liaising with the VM team, Merchandisers and Storekeepers to get received items displayed as soon as possible.
•    Responsible for disassembling, safely packing and quality checking sold pieces from the showroom. Liaising with the Sales Managers, VM and Merchandising team to ensure quick removal and replacement of items.
•    Assisting Storekeepers and Labourers with ‘back-of-house’ tasks as necessary when installation work is not possible.
•    Ensuring the safe handling and movement of product so as to minimise damages and keep shrinkage costs to a minimum.
 

Candidate Requirements

•    Experience in furniture assembly
•    Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
•    Positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach when working under pressure.
•    Results oriented.
