IT Lead - Quality Assurance

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer with expertise in the retail and food & beverage domains, specifically with Magento/commerce tools and point of sale systems. The candidate will define and implement test strategies, collaborate with QA managers, and ensure quality standards are met. Proficiency in UI & web-service validation and test automation is required. The role includes leading teams, performing sanity and regression tests, and ensuring the team has the necessary training and tools to succeed.

Job Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with retail-backed, food and beverage systems like Magento/Commerce tools, Oracle Point of Sale, mobile apps(IOS,Android) and a solid understanding of loyalty and Ecommerce knowledge helps the team create positive workflows, negative scenarios, and customer-centric cases.
• Understand testing and release requirements and establish the overall testing approach accordingly.
• Lead the test strategy and collaborate with the QA manager to define and implement organization-wide quality strategies, processes, and best practices.
• Review and provide feedback on test cases, test scripts, and test automation code developed by QA engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Hands-on experience in UI and web-service manual validation and test automation across platforms – web, M-web, mobile apps (iOS and Android) of digital/omni-channel landscape systems by following the STLC process.
• Perform test automation feasibility and hands-on experience using Selenium, Appium, or similar libraries, defect slippages, RCAs, and plan for test automation coverage/metrics, integration with GIT and CICD tools. Support defect triage, defect prioritization, retesting, and defect closure.
• Hands-on experience in POS validation and last-mile delivery systems like Fareye.
• Knowledge of SAP, SCM, Marketplace, OMS, PIM, and AWS systems would be a plus.
• Knowledge of database, performance, and security testing would be a plus.
• Perform sanity/regression tests before and after the releases over the specified environments.
• Ensures the team has adequate training, consulting, and tools to deliver objectives.

Candidate Requirements

•    Food & Beverages (F&B), Retail and E-commerce experience 
•    Test plan & Test strategy. 
•    Defect triage & closure. 
•    Agile & sprint experience 
•    Test automation – Selenium, Appium, Rest assured, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, POS or similar.
•    Good to have - SAP, SCM, Marketplace, OMS, PIM
