Job Summary

This role is responsible for EPM (end point management) where they will manage hardware (laptops, mobiles) from backend including updates, server configuration, data backups…etc.

Candidate will be resposnible for patchingh endclinets servers where required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handling the Endpoint Management Tool.
  • Handling Ivanti Management Tool and Endpoint EDR (Antivirus)
  • Develop, maintain, and deploy software and operating system images
  • Work with vendors and consultants, when necessary, in resolving software and hardware problems.
  • Ensure all systems maintain correct configurations. Monitor the performance of installed technologies
  • Work with vendors to ensure workstation specifications meet needs of the business
  • Drive strategy for hardware refresh cycles
  • Testing New Devices E.g. Mobile devices, Desktops, LaptopsMaintaining an Asset Database and track changes 
  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles 
  • Provide basic in-house training in hardware /software installation and configuration.
  • Provide Reports on regular basis on the inventory in the environment.   
  • Basic Active Directory knowledge. Moving objects to proper OU. 
  • To arrange for external technical support from hardware vendors where problems cannot be resolved in house
  • Ensure machines are fully up to date with the patches prior deployment to end users.
  • Keep the inventory list update and share with the management when required.
  • Organize work in an efficient manner and work with more than one project/responsibility at a time 
  • Research for standard Hardware that meet business requirement 
  • Take ownership of a support issue and follow it through to resolution
  • Communicate regularly and effectively both written and verbally with ITSD team on the latest patches and their deployment.
  • Ensuring machines are fully compliance with latest security patches as well browsers and servers where required.
  • Coverage for support includes hardware/software across EMEA and Asia whilst also supporting offices in GCC. 
  • Interact effectively at all levels within the organization where required.

Candidate Requirements


Skills    
•    Technical understanding of Windows Desktop x64 operating systems
•    Knowledge of software packaging tools
•    Knowledge of Windows Imaging and patching.
•    Recommend tools, techniques, technologies for workstation and mobile device management. Lead efforts to share technical knowledge within team.
•    Provide documentation & training to Service Desk Support team on problem solving & issues related to Software Packing and Windows Imaging

Education    
•    Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent
•    ITILv3 certified

Years of Experience    
At least 3 years of experience in End Point Management.
