Job Summary


The Oracle Specialist will be responsible to provide immediate support and troubleshooting and resolve issues and improve operational efficiency. Closely work with business stakeholder to understand their needs in order to develop a technical solutions. Innovate new ideas that can help business to increase sales, save cost or enhance control. Implement and develop new systems to achieve high efficiency and productivity. Make sure the Database is up to date and conduct DB maintenance periodically. 

Job Responsibilities

Oracle Symphony POS System Management:
•    Oversee the daily operations of the Oracle Symphony POS system.
•    Perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
•    Coordinate with Oracle support for any advanced troubleshooting and system updates.


•  Hospitality Management:
•    Ensure the POS system is configured to meet the needs of our F&B operations.
•    Customize and optimize the POS system to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
•    Manage user accounts and access permissions for the POS system.


•  Inventory Management:
•    Integrate the Oracle Symphony POS system with inventory management software.
•    Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
•    Develop and implement inventory management best practices.


•  Technical Support and Training:
•    Provide technical support to staff for Oracle Symphony POS and inventory management systems.
•    Conduct training sessions for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.
•    Create and maintain documentation for system processes and procedures.


•  Project Management:
•    Lead and participate in projects related to system upgrades, new feature implementations, and process improvements.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.


•  Vendor Management:
•    Act as the primary point of contact with Oracle and other related vendors.
•    Manage vendor relationships and service contracts to ensure optimal support and services.
 

Candidate Requirements


Qualifications:


•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Oracle Hospitality systems, particularly Oracle Symphony POS.
•    Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes.
•    Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Experience in the F&B industry is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:
•    Certification in Oracle Hospitality or related fields.
•    Experience with database management and SQL.
•    Familiarity with other F&B industry software and systems.
•    Experience administering Oracle Databases

Working Conditions:
•    This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to support system updates or resolve critical issues.
•    Must be able to travel to different company locations as needed.
