Internship Opportunity - Facilities Engineering

Internship Overview

The Intern will support the Facilities Management team in the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of commercial buildings and warehouse facilities. This role provides hands-on experience in facilities engineering, preventive maintenance, project coordination, asset management, and building operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day facilities, engineering and maintenance activities.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring Facilities Management projects.
• Participate in site inspections, facility condition assessments, and progress reporting.
• Support preventive maintenance planning and asset management activities.
• Learn and assist in the use of CAFM/IWMS systems to support Facilities Management operations.
• Assist with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and project coordination tasks.
• Support building operations and maintenance activities for commercial and warehouse facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Shadow Facilities Engineers to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Facilities Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Management team.

Candidate Requirements

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interest in Facilities Management, building operations, maintenance, and engineering projects.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, building services, and maintenance principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional Facilities Management environment.
