Job Summary

To support the design service offering by assisting customers with basic design solutions and product selection across Safat Home categories. The role focuses on learning and executing foundational design principles and achieving introductory sales targets, while utilizing basic design software.

Job Responsibilities

•    Assist customers with basic home furnishing design suggestions using Safat Home products that fit their space and style.
•    Utilize basic 2D/3D design tools (CAD) under supervision to create design layouts and sketches for customers.
•    Support the maintenance of the digital product library to ensure all available items are accurately reflected in the design system.
•    Stay informed on current interior design trends in the local market.
•    Assist the visual merchandising team with the functionality and arrangement of product displays within the store.
•    Support senior designers in preparing simple design documentation and client presentations.
•    Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all core home furnishing products, features, and benefits.
•    Present and promote products to potential customers using established sales arguments.
•    Work towards achieving assigned individual sales targets.
•    Provide attentive customer service during the design and selection process.
•    Coordinate follow-up actions with sales team members and other departments as needed.
•    Adhere strictly to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
•    Utilize active listening and maintain a professional attitude when representing the company.
•    Follow all reasonable instructions from management promptly.
•    Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company information and sales figures.
 

Candidate Requirements

•    Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or a related field (or actively pursuing one).
•    0 to 2 years of experience in a design, retail, or customer service environment.
•    Basic experience with CAD systems or other 2D/3D design software is required.
•    Basic understanding of home furnishing products, trends, styles, and materials.
•    Good written and spoken English is required; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
•    Must be results-driven, highly detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possess strong teamwork skills.
