 Execute merchandising activities for assigned categories to ensure effective visibility of promotions & product selections to maximise conversions and revenues.

 Basic Function &     Scope of Job













  • Daily analysis of web sales to identify gaps/trends and collaborate with stakeholders to maximize sales
  • Effective and regular competition monitoring of category KVI's in terms price/promotions and initiating quick counter actions
  • Responsible for display of products on website, in such a way that stimulates interest and entices customers to make a purchase
  • Work with key stakeholders to guide, design and execute exclusive online promotions / replication of in-store promotions
  • Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, tracking, and measuring the success of such promotions
  • Coordinate with designers to produce appealing and content rich web assets
  • Custom build product lists to support editorial and email marketing, message notifications and marketing communications
  • Optimize the use of existing site features: site search tools, product recommendation software, product videos, side by side product comparisons, enhanced visualization tools, reviews and ratings etc.
  • Focused on site productivity; getting maximum product engagement, conversion and sales per order.
  • Collaborative in improvising site design, new features & tools, marketing offers and product mix.
  • Managing CMS / static pages created for special highlights and merchandising

  • Creativity: To ensure merchandising asset appeal to target audience and employ creative ways to upsell and cross sell
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and keen on collaborating with teams across domains of buying, marketing, content etc.
  • Bilingual skills preferred (English & Arabic)



  • Excel and Reporting (Intermediate level): Good knowledge of excel and good reporting skills
  • Data Driven (Intermediate level): Who can deep dive into available data and suggest trends and forecast sales
  • Magento (Beginner – Intermediate level): Hands-on experience with Magento. Knowledge of Business Objects, SAP, CRM preferred
  • Site Analytics (Beginner – Intermediate level): To analyse on site customer behaviour and to better cater their expectations
  • Search Analytics and SEO (Beginner – Intermediate level): To maximize search behaviour of customers both on-site and off-site


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing Preferred)
  • Certification : Google Analytics, SEO, Digital marketing etc.

 Years of Experience

  • 1-2 years  Online merchandising or buying background - Commercially aware with sales focus to help maximize conversion and cross selling
  • Up to Date with latest trends and understand the challenges and opportunities of digital commerce
  • Good Industry Knowledge: Latest Products, Global Market, Competition etc.
