Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading and executing enterprise wide / business improvement projects and support in deployment of OPEX initiatives, that includes OPEX trainings, facilitating project workshops, communication, promoting and deployment lean six sigma methodologies across Alghanim Automotive group.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in the implementation of business process improvement projects and execution, utilizing process improvement methodologies that deliver sustainable results.
• Drive business process capability through waste, variability and lead time reduction.
• Develop best practice sharing across functional areas.
• Track OPEX project KPIs and reporting OPEX dashboard periodically to all stake holders
• Act as an internal cross-functional expert providing guidance and consultation to project teams.
• Participate in deployment of OPEX tools, i.e., Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, etc.
• Support establishment and communication of the OPEX philosophy, culture and best practices.
• Foster employee engagement, successful change management and acceptance.
• Facilitate workshops to focus improvement, transfer knowledge, and engage team members, managers and leaders in activities supporting the business process LEAN transformation.
• Provide support on training, roadmap development and end to end processes where necessary.
• Be prepared to work some extended hours, when necessary, to complete a task.
• Accomplishment of project objectives and goals and timely completion of assigned tasks on schedule.
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or MBA. Lean Six Sigma green belt is a plus
• Proficient with Lean, Six sigma, and Continuous Improvement concepts, and able to implement them to increase productivity, remove waste and reduce cost.
• Demonstrated problem solving, analytical skills and facilitation skills.
• Ability to analyse data using statistical methods, challenge the status quo, and facilitate different perspectives to drive alternate solutions like process simplification, optimization and automation.
• Document AS-IS, TO-BE process maps and measurement systems (metrics).
• Good technical writing, presentation, verbal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with computer-based tools, excel analysis, statistical process control principles and methods
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization, influence leaders, build trust and credibility quickly.
• Ability to drive collaboration across businesses and functions with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrated passion to drive results, promote change and employee engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead implementation and development of OPEX vision and strategy.
• Cross cultural effectiveness.
• Ability to communicate clearly through written and oral communications.
• Understands functional processes and can navigate systems to extract needed data.
