Job Title: Procurement Officer – Sandwich Panel Plant

Job Summary

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and services required for sandwich panel production. The role ensures timely availability of materials at optimal cost while maintaining quality standards and supplier compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Procure raw materials such as steel coils (PPGI/GI), insulation materials (PU/PIR/EPS/Rockwool), adhesives, chemicals, and accessories.
  • Source and manage suppliers for machinery spare parts, consumables, and maintenance items.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost, and reliability.
  • Ensure materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Track deliveries and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality deviations.
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audits and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience in a sandwich panel, steel, construction materials, or manufacturing plant.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial raw materials and production-related procurement.
  • Experience with SAP systems is preferred.
  • Good understanding of inventory control and logistics processes.
