Job Summary

The Product Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth product analysis, pricing studies, and market intelligence to support strategic decisions related to model positioning, trim planning, and competitive advantage in Kuwait's evolving automotive market. This role is highly analytical, working closely with sales, marketing, and OEM stakeholders to ensure that product lineup is aligned with market demand and competitive dynamics — especially in the EV and PHEV segments.

Job Responsibilities

•    Analyze current product lineup performance (sell-through, customer preferences, model mix).
•    Recommend variant optimization, feature additions/removals, and package restructuring based on demand and cost-benefit analysis.
•    Conduct deep competitor analysis (price points, features, specs, technology, promotions, positioning).
•    Monitor pricing strategies and product moves of key competitors in the Kuwait and GCC markets.
•    Support pricing strategy development in coordination with sales and finance teams.
•    Model various pricing scenarios based on competitor actions and cost changes.
•    Liaise with OEM product team on model specs and customization requests.
•    Provide sales trend analysis and highlight underperforming variants.
 

Candidate Requirements


Skills    
•Strong knowledge of automotive product planning, ideally with EV exposure.
•Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
•Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
•Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
Education    
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
Years of Experience    
3-5 years of experience in automotive product, pricing, or market analysis roles.
