Position: QC Inspector (Steel Fabrication/Dimensional)
Academic Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
At least 5 years work Experience as QC Dimensional Inspector activities in heavy structural steel fabrication industries.
• Good communication skills in English & Hindi are must.
• Shall have skills of Engineering drawings interpretation and sound computer knowledge (Excel, word) is must.
Qualities required:
• Ability to Work under pressure in the Fabrication shop floor.
• Shall have ability to do teamwork.
• Shall have good judgment of job for releasing, hold up, rejection, non-conformity reports etc.
• Knowledge on Root cause Analysis of process defects and reporting.
• Able to work in Day/Night shift duties.
Age limit: 24 -35 Years.
Job Responsibilities:
 To check & verify the dimensional/Visual Inspection requirements as per Engineering shop drawings/International standards like MBMA, AWS D1.1M, AISC etc.
 Shall be able perform progressive Inspection during Fabrication Fit-up Process.
 Shall have excellent knowledge in visual and welding inspection acceptance criteria/tolerances with various welding process like FCAW, SMAW, SAW etc.
 Shall have good knowledge of various raw material specifications and international standards.
 Shall have knowledge on fit up inspection and its procedures.
 Shall prepare the daily inspection reports, QC Dossiers etc. as per requirement.
 Shall have the knowledge of root cause analysis of fabrication process and its defects.
 Shall have good judgment of job for releasing, hold up, rejection etc.
 Knowledge on Industrial painting process painting inspection activities like Visual, DFT checking, sand blasting inspection etc is preferred.

QC INSPECTOR

Structural steel Fabrication Inspector capable of handling Dimensional / Welding & Painting Inspection.

Job Responsibilities

1.    Ensure every project requirements are strictly followed by shop.
2.    Follow the job ITP / QP requirements.
3.    Establish new procedures, new methods where needed and get approval.
4.    Thorough knowledge of engineering structural drawing, Erection drawing produced on Auto cad, BOCAD.
5.    To perform inspection where ever needed or as directed by the supervisor, inclusive of subcontract.
6.    Capable of reporting, issuing & closing of nonconformance reports.
8.    Knowledge of MBMA, AISC tolerances.

9.    To check & verify the dimensional/Visual Inspection requirements as per Engineering shop drawings/International standards like MBMA, AWS D1.1M, AISC etc.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge
5 Year in similar type of industries & Fabrication & Painting -Inspection
