Job Summary

Ensure on-time, cost-efficient, and continuous operations in steel manufacturing

Job Responsibilities

•    Coordinate with PMG, Design, Detailing, PPC for forecast and plan of material usage
o    Take off (calculate) raw material based on the LHE (Long Hand Estimation), Approval Drawing for major raw materials need to be imported or buy locally for each VN job & SS job
o    Closely coordinate with PMG to optimize planning for import materials for all projects at least for 03 months coming
o    Prepare comparison table Hot Roll to be converted to Built Up and send to PMG for final approval
o    Work with PPC for splice join of Hot Roll and send to PMG => sent to Detailer to put the join location on AD for approval) for SS# job
•    Ensure timely PR issuance, maintain accurate material records
•    Update material status & delivery time from Purchasing
•    Coordinate with Purchasing & PPC & QA on which PR# & PO# of plate to be used for which job#
•    Update, check availability for Fast Track job to be added to run
•    Prepare & Arrange Monthly Inventory Meeting and propose quantity then PR to buy: Open stock of new month
•    Control Slow/Dead stock and request Design, PMG to use

Candidate Requirements

Skills    
•    Proficient in: Excel and Acad
•    Understanding of factory / steel structure operations
•    Strong coordination skill
•    Clear and fast reporting skill
•    English communication proficiency

Education    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or technical background

Years of Experience    Minimum 6 years in production environment
