Job Summary:
The Sales Officer will be responsible for supporting the sales team in driving business growth, increasing revenue, and enhancing client relationships within the freight forwarding industry. This position will focus on administrative support, lead generation, customer interaction, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the sales team in preparing and managing quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of sales orders.
- Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the sales team and management.
- Assist with the preparation and follow-up of sales contracts and agreements.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer data and sales activities.
- Support the sales team in nurturing relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Provide support in maintaining long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer retention.
- Assist in cold calling, email campaigns, and other methods of prospecting to generate sales leads.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
