Job Summary

Field Service Supervisor is responsible for maintaining/repairing all/any products supplied by the organization, delivery services as per standards set by the organization

Job Responsibilities

•    Maintain of products that have been sold by offering on-site corrective and preventive maintenance as well as other after-sales technical support solutions. 
•    on-the-job training and coaching to improve the company's overall technical customer service
•    oversee the diagnosis and resolution of field technical problems and suggest improvements to techniques and resolutions
•    provide technical assistance and support to engineers and customers whenever required
•    Management of workshop activities that includes workshop repairs , supplying backup machines to the field and cost effective repair of repairable assemblies 
•    In charge of the calibration of the measuring devices and ensuring the proper functionality of engineers laptops
•    Take part in the planning for the “New Product Launch” assisting the Service and Stores Operations Manager and Services Delivery Manager for the required resources.
•    Advice the customer the repair cost for units not covered by service agreement or warranty.
•    Helps the contract sales team members in selling service contracts for machines that does not have a valid contract or warranty.
 

Candidate Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 
•    2-5 years of experience, preferably in Office equipment industry
•    Previous experience in Xerox is a remarkable advantage.
•    Creativity:  Being able to think of new systems and new ways to work. Being able to think creatively and ask the right questions.
•    Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to develop new solutions to problems. Having the skills to identify the source of the problem, create, and test solutions.
•    Teamwork: Able to work well with others in order to get the job done.
•    Listening Skills: Listening to workers, teammates, end user, and management is crucial to the  job.
•    Communication Skills: Being able to communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale in the job.
