Shipping Coordinator

Role Name: Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Shipping Coordinator will assist in handling queries related to sea, air, and overland freight for import/export shipments. The role involves coordinating with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and customs clearance teams to ensure smooth job execution while providing cost-effective services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating day-to-day operational requirements with the team.
• Provide shipment status updates to customers as required.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve basic operational issues.
• Support vendors in fulfilling customer requirements on time.
• Ensure the system is updated with accurate shipment data.
• Assist the Sales Manager by preparing reports and updating on job progress.
• Register new clients in CW1 and ensure accurate entry of order details.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a relevant or with similar role of coordination in another field. 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with freight forwarding operations for land, air, and sea shipments.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• A valid Kuwait Driving License is a plus.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
