Job Summary

Acts as the central point of contact between SCM Freight Forwarding and other Business Units (BUs), the Alghanim Industries (AI) Finance teams, internal custom clearance teams, and external freight forwarding and shipping companies to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Job Responsibilities

•    Responsible for identifying, collecting, collating, and dispatching all required documents from different internal BUs to external freight-forwarding and shipping companies (shipping lines).
•     Build a strong relationship with internal BUs and ensure that their timelines are achievable. Advise them on process and policy and maintain a daily line of communication.
•    Build a strong relationship with overseas suppliers and provide them with best-in-class customer service. Must ensure that a certain level of problem solving is applied to ensure efficient and fast response times.
•    Build a strong relationship with the internal Customs Clearing team and provide them necessary documents as per customs requirement. 
•    Coordinate with the Customs Clearance teams to issue Bills of Entry within SLAs. Communicate issuance with concerned BU.
•    Create payment advice of daily financial activities conducted by the Sahara Trans department.
•    Reconcile financial statements and bill relevant BUs.
•    Maintain a record on SAP and applicable ERP.
 

Candidate Requirements

Education    
•    Bachelor’s degree in relevant field – (accounting degrees preferred)
