Job Summary

The Senior Accounting Supervisor oversees accounting operations, manages the accounting team, ensures accurate financial reporting, and maintains compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Job Responsibilities

•    Close monthly books of accounts and prepare various accounting and Financial statements as per Corporate requirement

•    Review and scrutinize trial balance and ensure accuracy by checking entries and postings. 
•    Supervise / review and Ensure reconciliation of Banks statements, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables, Inventory, etc. 
•    Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures 
•    Liaise with external and internal auditors. 
•    Coordinate implementation of accounting and control procedures. 
•    Coordinate with IT in improving, enhancing system capabilities. 
•    Drive System automation projects to improve efficiency of Accounts team and reduce manual work.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance.

• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ICMA / ACCA, or equivalent

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, analytical, and problem-solving and decision making skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP or similar ERP and Power BI etc. is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 -5 years experience preferably in a multinational environment.

• Sound knowledge of accounting concepts (including IFRS), finance processes & internal controls.  

• Developed leadership skills able to supervise a team of accounting staff
