Job Summary

The Senior eCommerce Officer is responsible for monitoring and analysing the contents and transactions related to the websites/portals and any customer interface online Apps. As well as preparing relevant reports and nesseccary updates.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, write and update product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and take ownership of daily business administration on assigned accounts.
  • Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings.
  • Work with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders.
  • Multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends.
  • Use Spreadsheets or Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc) in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement.

Candidate Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, eCommerce, or any relevant field
•Marketing or relevant Diploma
•3 to 5 years of experience in ecommerce, sales and marketing 
•Handling/monitoring websites/online Apps for sales and marketing activities
•Creativity:  Being able to think of new systems and new ways to work. Being able to think creatively and ask the right questions.
•Analytical Skills: Being able to understand complex mathematical analysis, calculus, and other mathematics for design and troubleshooting.
•Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to develop new solutions to problems. Having the skills to identify the source of the problem, create, and test solutions.
•Teamwork: Able to work well with others in order to get the job done.
•Listening Skills: Listening to workers, teammates, end user, and management. 
•Communication Skills: Being able to communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale in the job. Good communication skills will greatly help in accomplishing the job.
