Job Summary

The candidate will be supporting Retail Credit function with meaningful business, financial and risk intelligence. The job holder is expected to contribute to the overall business planning, reporting and strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the process, measures, and value drivers for the business.
  • Reporting to provide business intelligence and analytical support to the stakeholders, on topics like:
    • Key performance indicators/measures covering credit operational, financial and risk landscape
    • Credit underwriting, onboarding, customer segmentation and product preference - evaluation of sales opportunity and associated credit risk
    • Credit risk, delinquency, follow-up and recovery measures – developing credit scorecard/risk-based pricing and underwriting evaluation/approval policy
    • Customer satisfaction and experience insights
    • Financial and operational metrics – reporting dashboard on Tableau and associated data modeling
    • Annual plan (budget) and reforecasts, including cash flow and working capital projection
    • Business development opportunities
    • Benchmark and market studies
    • Revenue maximization, promotion planning and pricing
    • Cost minimization, operational efficiency and process improvement
    • Capital expenditure approvals
  • Provide in-depth analysis/commentary to the management on key trends, alerts, issues.
  • Liaise with process owners and develop a trusted partner status through high quality support and decision aiding analysis.

Candidate Requirements

  • Professionally qualified – CA /CPA /ACCA /MBA/ CFA or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of post-qualification professional experience within finance domain in bank, non-banking financial entities, fintech start-up or similar industry focused on consumer lending.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems like SAP and analytical platforms like Tableau/Power BI is must.
  • Strong analytical skills; should be capable of identifying and interpreting key business drivers.
  • Knowledge of data science, queries to identify patterns and customer payment behavior.
  • Self-starter, able to work across functions and in teams.  Results-driven, with the ability to perform on unstructured assignments.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
