Sr. Maintenance Superintendent

Job Summary

The Sr. Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all civil maintenance activities to ensure the upkeep, repair and infrastructure of properties.The role extends to planning, executing and supervising civil and fit-out projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and in compliance with company standards.

Job Responsibilities

•   Lead and supervise the Civil Maintenance supervisor and a team of skilled civil technicians including carpenters, painters, gypsum technicians, steel fabricators, and masons.
•  Assign tasks, monitor performance and ensure efficient work distribution among team members.
•   Plan, coordinate and supervise all civil maintenance activities including carpentry, painting, gypsum, masonry and steel fabrication.
•   Collaborate with the maintenance planner/coordinator for effective job scheduling, CMMS updates and resource allocation.
•  Plan, execute and manage civil and fit-out projects including renovations, refurbishments and modifications.
•  Prepare project scopes & BOQ, schedules and budgets and ensure alignment with business objectives and management expectations.
•   Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and subcontractors for material procurement and specialized services.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and company standards in all maintenance and project activities.

Candidate Requirements

•   Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
•   Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in civil maintenance and project management with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
•   Strong knowledge of construction materials, building systems, fit-out works, repairs and finishes techniques.
•  Experience with CMMS for work order tracking and planning.
• Proven experience in managing civil and fit-out projects from planning to handover.
•  Familiarity with HSE standards, building codes and regulations.
• Effective leadership, project management and communication skills.
