Job Summary

The Sr. Social Media & Marketing Executive is skilled and result oriented team player, creative digital marketer with experience in social media management and campaign execution. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, managing social presence, driving paid media programs with agencies’ support and ensure the social media content aligns with broader marketing campaigns. The role requires some knowledge and experience in creative management, social listening tools and passion to excel in executing high impact campaigns across platforms. 

Job Responsibilities

•Develop and execute bold, attention grabbing social media campaigns and follow through with monthly social media plans to ensure various platforms are deployed most effectively. 
•Monitor competitions’ social media platforms, competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and messaging and audience identification.
•Campaign management and execution from planning and content creation to scheduling, deployment and reporting. Collaborate with agencies to create scroll-stopping engaging content (visuals, videos and copy) that resonates with target audience, ensuring alignment with brand voice/personality and campaign objectives.
•Moderate the user-generated content in line with the Brand guidelines for each platform. 
•Responsible for maintaining brand standards across social media platforms.
•Performance analysis: analyze and report on the performance of organic and paid social media campaigns, providing key metrics and insights to optimize future efforts. Develop Bi-weekly report & post campaign reports of all SM platforms, and recommend improvements to drive engagement levels based on platforms core audience. 
•Social listening and insights: monitor brands mentions, trends, customer sentiment and share actionable insights to refine social media strategy. Continuously monitor customer’s feedback, complains across platforms and respond in timely manner. Create conversations that people want to join. Start trends and engage with communities to grow audience. 
•Trend monitoring and innovation: stay up to date with latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring the brands’ remain ahead of the curve in digital marketing. 
•Cross functional collaboration (operations, supply chain, etc.) on marketing activities to ensure smooth implementation.
•Plan, implement and optimize paid social media campaigns across key platforms to drive engagement, conversations and brand awareness. Oversee digital media buy to ensure efficient use of budget to maximize reach and ROI. 
•Proven experience to capture the content of brands activities (new product launches, activations, events, etc.) in line with various platforms specifics to champion brands’ presence in real time across key relevant platforms. Creative thinker with passion for storytelling and connecting with audience online.
•Ability to leverage AI-powered tools to streamline and enhance content creation (e.g. AI-driven video and/or image tools), social listening & scheduling. Experiment with new platforms, formats and features as they launch, making sure the brands’ pushing the boundaries of digital innovation.
•Experience in managing Google My Business to ensure that online presence is optimized for local searches and engagement. Update and maintain GMB profile to improve visibility, engage with customers reviews, update business information and enhance search performance. 
 

Candidate Requirements

•Minimum 2 – 4 years’ experience in Social and Digital Media Marketing 
•Effective communication skills – both verbal and written in both Arabic & English
•Graphic Design Skills (added advantage)
•Effective interpersonal skills - willing to work across teams (internal & external)
•Effective reporting and presentation skills and workflows in a clear and engaging manner
•Strong analytical skills
•Good Organizational and self-management skills under pressure
•Proactive in taking initiatives and staying up to date with latest marketing trends
