Senior Workplace Designer

The primary objective of this role is to provide timely and essential support to the Facilities and Real Estate departments through the provision of diagrams and drawings aligned with their respective objectives and overarching departmental requirements. The Senior Workplace Designer will assume a pivotal position in designing and enhancing office and workspace layouts across diverse Alghanim business ventures. This role demands a profound comprehension of space management intricacies, architectural drafting techniques, and workplace design principles.
The Senior Workplace Designer holds accountability for delivering designs of the utmost quality while ensuring meticulous capture of our real estate occupancy data to guarantee precision in associated charges.

Senior Workplace Designer Role:

1. Space Occupancy Calculation:
   • Oversee and provide accurate space occupancy calculations to support finance with real estate charges and planning.
2. Facilities Management Support:
   • Assist the Facilities Management team by providing necessary drawings and diagrams for their day-to-day operations.
3. Safety Support:
   • Collaborate with the safety team to develop and maintain necessary drawings and diagrams, including fire escape routes, gathering points, and other safety-related documentation.
4. Housekeeping and Security Support:
   • Work closely with the housekeeping and security teams to design and provide necessary diagrams for security booths, patrol locations/routes, and other relevant facilities.
5. Workplace Design:
   • Design office and workspaces for various Alghanim businesses, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
6. Project Design:
   • Lead the design of various projects including storage spaces, warehouses, maintenance workshops, etc., ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Education:

• Interior Design Diploma or related field.
• A bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in architectural drafting and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of space management principles and workplace design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant safety and building codes/regulations is a plus.
• Previous experience in Real Estate or Facilities Management companies.
