Job Summary

Store Manager takes overall responsibility for the running of the store, ensuring that every customer has a great experience and receives a great cup of coffee.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead store team in all aspects of delivering the best coffee experience to every guest, all the time
  • Take overall responsibility for delivering brand standards at all times by ensuring that the store is opened/ closed & operated in line with all Costa & company standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all relevant COSTA check, standards, food and health and safety checks are completed
  • Take overall responsibility for managing the stock and order systems for food and consumables whilst delivering the budgeted margins/profit
  • Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed to maintain cash & stock in a secure manner
  • Communicate all key information to the store team in the most effective way using the most appropriate media including Team Meetings and Shift Briefings
  • Deal with and resolve customer complaints
  • Ensure all marketing updates and new POS are implemented and maintained effectively
  • Execute all aspects of “Right Person, Right Time”
  • Train, coach and develop the team to ensure that they deliver brand standards and a great customer experience
  • Complete team member one to ones, coffee chats etc.
  • Analyze and act upon financial/ performance data to ensure the store is run in the most efficient and profitable manner
  • Take initiative to develop store sales & involve in local store marketing
  • Perform all tasks as defined in the Barista and Barista Maestro’s Job Descriptions
  • Deliver annual budget & KPIs for the store
