Job Summary

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Technician - Marine is responsible To carry out effective and efficient repair and maintenance of marine outboard engines following the approved manufacturers repair techniques

Job Responsibilities

•    Troubleshooting and fault finding for marine outboard engines
•    Understanding customer complaints & their requirements
•    Referencing parts catalogues and prepare correct parts required list
•    Maintenance & Repairs of marine outboard engines
•    Perform major overhauls, repairs, replacement of parts, assemblies & preventive maintenance as per shop manual procedures
•    Fabricate or improvise temporary replacement
•    Marine engine installations and testing
•    Testing of marine outboard engines
•    Attending on site jobs as per above description
•    Plan and prepare for onsite jobs
•    Coordinate with service supervisor / service advisor for start, completion and other requirements for repairs
•    The technician may be required to perform or assist other duties & special assignments as required 
•    Have basic computer skills to operate troubleshooting tools
•    Have ability to read and understand shop manuals
•    Participate in Honda trainings

Candidate Requirements

•    Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (2 years) 
•    Four plus years of experience in a similar position 
•    Good command of spoken English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage 
•    Kuwaiti driving license will be an advantage. 
•    Good conduct and polite behaviour towards customers 
•    Trouble shooting and problem solving skills
