Job Summary

To work in a team of visual merchandisers on creating an inspiring visual and commercial shopping experience, whilst maintaining visual disciplines and standards throughout the stores. 

Job Responsibilities

a)    General

•    Following company and departmental guild lines
•    Being aware of all in-store promotions and effectively implementing them.
•    Having an awareness of the competitor and understanding current trends.
•    Ensuring all visual standards are maintained
•    Having a creative flair and eye for detail essential.

b)     Sales

•    Having an excellent and up to date knowledge of all products
•    Working with sales to ensure sales staff follow the  VM disciplines and standards      

c)     Customer Service

•    -       Being constantly aware of customers and their needs
•    -       Ensuring that all customers are treated equally both internally and externally.

d)     Visual Merchandising

•    Following guidelines as established in the VM, Sales  and Safety Standards Manuals
•    Creating displays, interiors, room sets, shelf displays etc. according to VM manager instructions and in conjunction with the buying and merchandising team.
•    Having regular meetings with sales team to have awareness of new product launches.
•    Working closely with the carpentry team and maintained and ensuring that lighting, displays and finishes are up to company standards
•    Working in a safe and customer friendly manner, never leaving a job unfinished, especially during busy periods
•    Planning work according to shop floor demands and business
•    Constantly renewing his / her knowledge of design and the latest influences
