Position Overview
Provide full support to Senior Supervisor and Manager in managing personnel and Warehouse Operations for both Inbound and Outbound Operations.
Ensure that high bin accuracy has been maintained.
Responsible in providing feedbacks on total result performance of shift.
Essential Job Roles:
INBOUND
• Shift management of inbound operations with coordination to Senior Supervisor / Manager
• Ensure inbound inventory is captured on the system prior on offloading items in the warehouse
• Ensure for each, every, SKU offloaded has scannable barcodes
• Carry out full inspection audits for packaging and labeling quality of offloaded items
• Maintain and organize daily shift rotation of personnel
• Closely coordinate with Senior Supervisor in planning the resource used in offloading & putaway
• Recheck if offloaded items are placed on the correct pallet type
• Check and support management in achieving daily targets set by BU
• Responsible to ensure all personnel under him has proper Sap training
• Ensure that containers offloaded as per target daily
• Responsible to team container assignment as per manpower capacity
• Report any discrepancies received on containers offloaded (damages / Shortages / Excess)
• Ensure that pending putaway on floor will be prioritized in binning
• Closely coordinate with Fleet Supervisor for container status to ensure offloading will not be delayed
• Coordinate /Monitor materials required for offloading (pallets , shrink wraps, etc)
• Ensure lag time is not more than 24 hours unless approved by management
• Ensure no hanging Outbulk on system unless approved by Management
• Closely coordinate with Senior Supervisor / Manager on floor situation – pending putaway, backlog in offloading
OUTBOUND
• Shift management of picking operations with coordination with Senior Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure outbound inventory is captured on the system prior to dispatch from the warehouse
• Ensure for each, every, SKU picked there is a system update showing status – using barcodes
• Ensure load presentation for dispatch can be checked and scanned accurately
• Carry out random inspection audits for packaging and labeling quality
• Ensure orders are assigned a loading dock and the process is adhered too
• Maintain and organize daily shift rotation of personnel
• Closely coordination with Senior Supervisor in in planning the resource used in picking /sorting / packing and dispatching
• Recheck if all picked are placed on the correct pallet type / roll cage to maximize vehicle fill
• Check and support replenishment cycle to maintain full pick faces
• Responsible for 100% pick accuracy and report deviation via KPI
• Responsible for the investigation of any bin discrepancy or picking discrepancies
• Responsible to ensure all personnel under him has proper Sap training
Candidate Requirements:
Technical
• Experience of managing fast-paced operations – with multiple sites and multiple clients
• User knowledge of warehouse management systems
• MHE capabilities and advantage.
• Highly PC Literate (MS Office applications and SAP Applications expertise
• Thorough understanding of KPI reporting and control procedures
